Elopement at Jordan Pond, Acadia National Park

Eloping In Acadia?

Here are 6 things you need to know!

Make it stand out.

Get Your Ducks In A Row

  • Pick Your Spot!

Where do you want to have your ceremony? Acadia has many spectacular locations to tie the knot, Seal Cove being among my favorites.

  • Get A Permit

The park is a stickler for proper permits, so if you plan on having more than ten people present for the ceremony, make sure to visit the NPS website and apply for the proper permits at least 10 business days before the wedding.

  • Vehicle Reservation

If you want to take advantage of one of Acadia’s main attractions and drive up to the summit of Cadillac Mountain, you will need a vehicle reservation. The cost is $6 per vehicle and must be purchased at Recreation.gov. Reservations are not available for purchase at the park!

Jack & Lily -

“From the very beginning James was wonderful to work with! We knew from our first conversation with him that he was going to make this wedding process as smooth as possible. James is professional, attentive, and fun to work with. He was very flexible when it came to timing and planning. He climbed over rocks and stayed out in the cold rain to make sure we got our perfect shots. We would recommend him to anyone! Thank you James for all you have done!”

Work out your vision. then we will make it happen.
